This was part of of our fundraising efforts to restore the church. Recognising how the landscape and its history have drawn artists through the ages, internationally recognised artists were invited for a visit in April 2023.
Working in collaboration with the UK’s Royal Academy and the Lake Como Landscape Museum, members of the church community introduced the the artists to different aspects of the lake - its landscape, life, history and music. The artists drew on their reflections to create pieces of art and photographs which were exhibited at two exhibitions. One at The Landscape Museum, Tremezzo, and the second at theGurr Johns Gallery, London.
